ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN
This campaign aims to work with staff across the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Health and Care partnership so we are all aware of the warning signs and able to support people to build resilience – and importantly prevent them taking their life.
Below you will find a collection of online and offline resources which could be used in a number of settings, to engage colleagues, working and volunteering, about how they can manage their mental health.
The educate phase is the first phase of the campaign and aims to encourage colleagues to reflect on their behaviour and seek to support others by recognising the signs of poor mental health.
Many of the resource point to the Zero Suicide Alliance 20-minute training, which gives everyone the skills and confidence to help someone who may be considering suicide.
Through the educate phase we aim to break the stigma and encourage open conversations around mental health and suicide.
