Let’s TALK.
The Check-In campaign aims to prevent staff suicide and promote a wellbeing culture by normalising the conversation around suicide and mental health as well as providing training, resources and signposting for support.
‘Staff’ includes all colleagues, working and volunteering, in organisations, across the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Health and Care Partnership area.
Whether front-line, office, service or community based, everyone works incredibly hard to provide great care, and this can this can be hard in these difficult times. Through Check-In we are inviting mental wellbeing conversations as common place, without fear of judgement, within all teams, departments and roles.
Across West Yorkshire and Harrogate organisations are working together to create a culture in which we acknowledge ourselves as people in and outside of work. This campaign is an important element in our drive to improve staff mental health and wellbeing, which will be brought to life in a new mental health and wellbeing hub. We want as many of our partner organisations as possible to support, encourage and advise us as we develop this hub by joining our steering group. To get involved please email bdcccg.wyh.mentalwellbeinghub@
We’re probably the poorest at taking care of our colleagues’ mental health as well as our own.”
